If someone misses the Friday prayer due to a valid reason such as illness or travel, they are not required to make it up. However, it is recommended to perform the Dhuhr (midday) prayer as a substitute for the missed Friday prayer. **

Good Friday is called "Good" because it is the day when Christians commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, which is seen as a sacrifice that brought salvation to humanity. Despite the somber nature of the day, it is considered "good" because it represents the ultimate act of love and redemption in Christian theology. The term "Good Friday" may have originated from the Middle English word "goode," which meant holy or pious. **
