Thales was an ancient Greek philosopher, mathematician, and astronomer who lived around 624-546 BC. He is often considered one of the Seven Sages of Greece and is known as one of the first individuals to engage in scientific inquiry and critical thinking. Thales is credited with making significant contributions to geometry, astronomy, and philosophy, and is often regarded as the first philosopher in Western tradition. His most famous philosophical principle is that "everything is water," suggesting that water is the fundamental substance of the universe. **

Thales' theorem states that if A, B, and C are points on a circle where the line AC is a diameter, then the angle at B is a right angle. In other words, if a triangle is inscribed in a circle with one of its sides being the diameter of the circle, then that triangle is a right triangle. Thales' theorem is a fundamental result in geometry and is named after the ancient Greek mathematician Thales of Miletus. **

Thales of Miletus was an ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician who lived around 624-546 BC. He is often considered one of the Seven Sages of Greece. Thales is known for his contributions to geometry, particularly for his theorem about the angles of a triangle. He is also credited with predicting a solar eclipse in 585 BC. Thales was a prominent figure in the development of early Greek philosophy and science. **

Thales' theorem states that if A, B, and C are points on a circle where line AC is a diameter, then angle ABC is a right angle. To calculate Thales' theorem, you simply need to show that angle ABC is 90 degrees when AC is a diameter. This can be done by using the properties of angles in a circle, such as the fact that an angle inscribed in a semicircle is always a right angle. By demonstrating that angle ABC is a right angle when AC is a diameter, you have proven Thales' theorem. **

Thales' theorem states that if A, B, and C are points on a circle where line AC is a diameter, then angle ABC is a right angle. This theorem is a fundamental concept in geometry and is often used to solve problems involving circles and right angles. Thales' theorem is named after the ancient Greek mathematician Thales of Miletus, who is considered one of the first known mathematicians in history. **

The theorem of Thales states that if a triangle is inscribed in a circle, and one of the sides of the triangle is a diameter of the circle, then the triangle is a right triangle. In other words, if a right angle is formed by one of the sides of the triangle being a diameter of the circle, then the other two angles of the triangle are acute. This theorem is named after the ancient Greek mathematician Thales of Miletus, who is considered one of the Seven Sages of Greece and is known for his contributions to geometry. **

Thales' theorem states that if A, B, and C are points on a circle where the line AC is a diameter, then the angle at B is a right angle. The proof of Thales' theorem involves using the properties of angles in a semicircle. Since angle ACB is an inscribed angle with its intercepted arc being the diameter, it must be a right angle. This proof demonstrates the relationship between angles in a circle and the properties of a diameter. **

Thales' theorem states that if A, B, and C are points on a circle where the line AC is a diameter, then the angle at B is a right angle. Another theorem of Thales is that if two triangles are inscribed in the same circle and share a common side that is a diameter of the circle, then the two triangles are right triangles. These theorems are fundamental in understanding the properties of circles and triangles in geometry. **
